I went down on my savage the same way when I first got my bike. I tried to do a turn as well and wasn't going as fast as necessary and just toppled over. However, my first thought was Oh My God My Bike!.. It wasn't until a guy from my complex ran over to pick the stucker off me that I even thought of my own injuries which were minimal, torn jeans and a bruise on the ankle. I simply went to the saturn dealer and had the guys put on a new peg. I only drove the bike to the dealer, I was not going to sport a bike with a bent peg considering it only had 15 miles on it at the time. All I know is I'm up to 800 miles now and haven't fallen again yet *knock on wood*. I'm glad I'm not alone in dropping a new bike right after taking the CCRider class. ;)
